- 16 years as a real estate manager for Howard Perry and Walston Realty, Inc.
- Twice named “Manager of the Year” (2006 & 2007 - Division II offices)
- Once honored with “Office of the Year” (2006 - Division II offices)
- GRI designation (Graduate REALTOR Institute)
- CRESC designation (Certified Real Estate Success Coach)
- For many years, was active on the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS (RRAR):
- served as chair of the RRAR Grievance Committee,
- served on the RRAR Professional Standards Committee, and
- was elected to 4 two-years terms on the RRAR Board of Directors.
